Sam Reid is Co-Founder & CEO of EngineLab. He's engineering the future of creative workflows: cloud infrastructure for studios who want to create without compromise, and private AI, deployed in your own cloud and never trained on your content, for studios and agencies who need control over their IP as much as their compute.

Previously, as CTO at VES Award-winning, BAFTA, GRAMMY and EMMY-nominated Untold Studios, Sam built the studio's infrastructure from the ground up, the first creative studio to operate exclusively in the cloud, scaling to support 500+ full time employees. As part of the leadership team, Sam delivered infrastructure solutions built around production needs no off-the-shelf platform could handle, and spearheaded the technical developments that got the studio there.

Sam has built and led teams of developers and support technologists, and forged key partnerships with global technology providers like AWS, now a Media & Entertainment Specialist Partner. That combination, deep infrastructure expertise and a real understanding of creative workflows, is what lets Sam help studios push further with technology, not just keep up with it.
