Nikki Hexum
Nikki Hexum is the co-founder and CEO of the Human Consent Foundation, where she leads the company’s work to protect human consent and creative rights in the age of AI. Drawing on more than two decades of industry experience across film and music, she has built her career around the people behind creative work, from performers and filmmakers to managers and production teams.
Before founding the Human Consent Foundation, Nikki’s early career included music video production, commercial production and CGI-driven projects during the digital transformation of the entertainment industry, including work on projects for Tom Petty, Faith Hill and LEGO Star Wars. She later spent many years working alongside actor Val Kilmer and legendary producer Robert Evans where she saw directly how creative contributions and personal identity can become separated from the long-term value they generate.
Nikki continues to serve as CEO and co-founder of SKP, a company focused on reshaping how value, access and opportunity flow to artists and the teams who support them. That work helped define her broader mission: building structures that give creators more transparency and control into the long-term value of their work.
As part of her work at the Human Consent Foundation, Nikki brings together her experience in production, talent advocacy and entertainment operations to create solutions that are commercially disciplined, creatively aligned and grounded in respect for individual expression. Her leadership reflects a belief that the future of entertainment depends on protecting creators, amplifying distinct voices and ensuring that the people who shape culture have a stronger role in the businesses built around it.
