Jenny Springett is AI Innovation Lead for Cicada, Zinc Media Group's R&D label, and runs Spring Generation, her independent AI consultancy. As an active unscripted development executive, she operates at the intersection of TV production and emerging AI. Her career spans global super indies through to startups, with formats on air across the US, Europe, Asia and Australia.

A founding member of the BBC Studios AI Production Working Group, Jenny co-authored the BBC Academy's first practical AI training courses and is lead trainer on ScreenSkills' AI for Development programme, the industry's first dedicated AI upskilling course for unscripted freelancers. She consults on Channel 4's Business Boost Scheme and with Northern Ireland Screen and TRC in Scotland, and is a judge for the Broadcast Tech Awards. Jenny comes from TV, not tech, and that is precisely what makes her an effective translator between the two worlds.
