James Duffen is the founding CEO of Imaginae Studios, Fremantle's AI-native studio creating original film and TV IP with generative AI. He came to Imaginae from AI M&A, advising early-stage AI companies on their exits to NASDAQ-listed acquirers. Before that he co-built TRX, a venture-backed online marketplace for global TV rights, with the former Chief Executive of Zodiak Media (now part of Banijay), for whom he had previously ran special projects at the production group. He holds an MBA from London Business School.
