Thirty years in automotive CGI and photography sit behind that. Carl was among the first photographers globally to integrate CGI into a photographic workflow, and co-founded This Little Fish, one of London's first CGI houses. He later co-founded Domeble, the 360 HDRI library still used industry-wide, and has worked with Storm Thorgerson at Hipgnosis on Pink Floyd projects, amongst many others.

A creative technical pioneer, Carl has spent his career at the point where technology meets craft, and is now pushing the boundaries of hybrid AI production. He builds the pipelines rather than talking about them: prompt architecture, character-continuity systems and model orchestration across AI models and ComfyUI builds, developing methods that hold performance, continuity and art direction steady across fully AI-generated work at feature scale.
